Three modes

Where Street Fighter 6 asks you to spend the night

Capcom built Street Fighter 6 as three modes that share one cast. Fighting Ground holds ranked, casual, arcade and training. World Tour sends an avatar through Metro City and Nayshall to learn master moves. Battle Hub is the lobby where cabinets, avatars and regional servers sit together. By October 2026 Capcom had reported more than seven million copies, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.

Fighting Ground

Ranked league points, casual sets, arcade routes, Extreme Battle and a training room that shows frame advantage. This is the mode people mean when they say they play Street Fighter 6.

World Tour

Raise a bond with a master and the avatar can borrow that fighter's specials. Ingrid, out on 28 May 2026, was the last new master Capcom added. Older World Tour chapters stay playable.

Battle Hub

A 3D lobby with sit-down cabinets, avatar battles and regional servers. It is the place for long casual sets when ranked points would only make the night tense.

Short sets

Best of three in casual or a Battle Hub cabinet is enough to test one idea, such as a Drive Rush button or a new anti-air, without a ranked loss streak.

Master bonds

World Tour bond levels unlock a master's specials for the avatar. Those tools do not rewrite the fighter's ranked moveset. They belong to the story character you built.

Modern first week

If motions are the wall, Modern controls let a new player throw a special and still meet Classic users in ranked. The damage tradeoff is real, and it is printed in the move list.

Battle Hub cabinets and avatar fights

Cabinets run the normal cast. Avatar battles use the moves your World Tour character actually learned, so a borrowed special from Cammy or JP can show up on a custom body.

Servers are regional. If the lobby feels empty, switch region before you assume the mode is dead on a weeknight.

What to drill before league points matter

Anti-air the jump, block the Drive Rush button, and spend one stock on a Drive Impact only when you have seen the opponent's pattern twice.

Training mode can record that pattern. If the note on our systems page is newer than your installed patch, update the game before you copy the drill.

Year 4 already added Yasmine on 3 August 2026 and Arjun on 13 October 2026. Tifa and Bosch are announced for 2027 and are not playable yet. Send the name and we will say whether the note is live, dated, or still only a Capcom announcement.
